KIC Start Pre-kinder Classes:
These classes are for children from birth to 3 years of age along with the active involvement of a parent or caregiver.
Classes are based on proven Kodaly, Orff and Dalcroze music education approaches. They will include fun and engaging activities using a range of instruments, puppets, stories, songs, dances, games and lots of creativity!
While music skills will be an obvious focus, the classes will also aim to develop the child’s emotional, physical, social, cognitive and literature skills.
Some elements may be directed at empowering parents as we explore the idea of using the voice to bond with baby, experiment with ways of using music to calm and relax children and to learn songs to help with everyday activities and routine.
Classes will be conducted for the following age groups:-
- Pianissimo 0 - 1 year old children
- Moderato 1 – 2 year old children
- Forte 2 - 3 year old children

These are after-school group keyboard classes for children in prep to prepare them for learning a musical instrument. This affordable introduction to instrumental music will be fun and engaging, and will equip children with the basic skills and techniques needed prior to beginning formal lessons on any instrument.
