Full Size Used, Good condition (some nicks and scratches but plays fine). Part of scroll is broken off (see picture). Made in 1920's by Australian violin maker "Manby". New Obligato strings including gold E string.
This is a beautiful looking instrument. Single piece back. The violin has had been well used and loved over the years. If anything the many nicks and scratches add to its character. There are no structural defects so the violin plays wonderfully.
Manby was an Australian based violin maker up until the late 1920's. I'm not sure exactly when this one was made. The internal label says "Copy of a Stradivarius".
We are selling because our daughter no longer plays it.
